David Gaukassian

Mr. Goukassian is a resident of West Bloomfield, Michigan. He earned his undergraduate degree from Wayne State University in 2011 and his Juris Doctor from Western Michigan University Thomas M. Cooley Law School in 2017. He has been licensed to practice law in the State of Michigan since 2017. He is a proud member of the Family Law section of the State Bar and attends seminars regularly.

Mr. Goukassian was introduced to family law as an intern at a boutique law firm in Plymouth, Michigan. He inherited a caseload of clients that he was responsible for managing while under the direct supervision of the managing attorney. He met with clients, drafted legal pleadings, and attended court hearings with his supervising attorney. He also assisted in trial preparation on a number of cases. He quickly learned what an emotional and testing time this can be for clients.  After his internship ended, he continued to help people in a variety of family law related matters. He has held a number of evidentiary hearings to change custody and finalized many contested divorces all across Michigan.

Since joining the firm, Mr. Goukassian has continued to represented clients in a variety of family law related matters. A dedication to preparation and client communication has helped him achieve outstanding results.

In his spare time, Mr. Goukassian spends his time outdoors with his beloved dog Diesel and enjoys working out.
